Select Canvas started in early 2007 offering the service of ‘Have your own image made into canvas’. Consistently growing and expanding their services, Select Canvas then moved into the world of commercial printing, working with companies and business’ supplying their essential stationary such as business cards, leaflets, banners and signs and more.

With the company growing rapidly, Select Canvas wanted to use their knowledge and high quality products in the retail world, so in late 2007, Purple Gherkin was born!

Purple Gherkin is now a much respected and well known shop in the middle of Camden Towns famous Stables Market with many different products and imagery to choose from.
